Children's Ministry
Children matter to God and they matter to us! We are here to love and build relationship with each child, and teach them about God from His word. “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, His power and the wonders He has done! (Psalm 78:4) As they experience His love and His truth, may they come to trust and obey Him, receiving Him as their Lord and Savior. We are here to help you parents and grandparents you as you raise your children in the ways of the Lord.
We have a child protection policy in place which includes check-in and check-out procedures and screening of all paid and volunteer nursery/children/youth workers (application, interview, reference checks, background checks with live-scan).
Nursery
Our Nursery Ministry provides a loving, safe, clean, and well-equipped facility. Our director and nursery workers are here to share the love of Christ with infants through 3 years so that they learn that church is a great place to be, that they are safe, loved, and taught to love God and love one another.
Noah’s Nursery open at 8:45 AM on Sunday mornings for the 9:00 AM service and 10:45 am for the 11:00 am service. Noah’s Nursery opens at 5:45 PM on Saturday evenings for the 6:00 PM service.
Busy Bees 2’s & 3’s: At the 11:00 am service, children ages 2-3 meet in Busy Bees room for play, snack, a Bible lesson, music and crafts.
Wednesday night nursery care is available from 6:45-8:15 PM
King's Kids
King’s Kids is the worship service for our little kids, 4 years old through first grade, who worship the Lord with great enthusiasm, lifting their voices with praise. They soak up Bible stories like little sponges and are being taught about God’s very great love and provision for them.
On Saturday evenings, children 4 years old through 5th graders are dismissed during the worship service to join Children’s Church in God Squad Room.
On Sunday mornings, King’s Kids meet in the God Squad Room during 9:00 AM service and
at the 11:00 AM service. Parents check their children in with a welcoming volunteer who provides a name tag for child and a corresponding numbered tag for the parent or guardian.
Gym Night
Wednesday evenings, 6:00–7:00 PM in the Gym.
Every Wednesday before our WOW Classes, five year- olds through 5th graders participate in an hour of supervised activity and play in the gym. A light meal of either hot dog, pizza or macaroni and cheese is served 6:00–7:00 PM.
In the Word on Wednesday (WOW)
In the Word On Wednesday we have weekly Bible study classes for all ages (children through adults), 7:00–8:15 PM. Pre-schoolers through 5th grade are taken from the gym to meet upstairs on the West side of the building.
God Squad
Second through fifth graders are sensitive to the things of God. They are actively processing the things they see and hear and forming their belief system. Teaching them to understand truth from a biblical world-view sets a solid foundation for them to build their lives on.
God Squad is the worship service where we worship and teach children about God and His Word through prayer, song, skits, Bible study and object lessons. We encourage the children to learn, love and live out His word. God Squad meets Saturday evenings where children are dismissed to leave with the teachers after the song service and Sunday mornings during the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services where they check in just prior to the start of the services.
