Our History...

During the winter of 1991 a small group of 17 people met in a living room for a home Bible study. This body of believers had a desire to be a ‘spiritual hospital’ for those who were hurting and a burden to ‘win the lost to Christ’. It was on April 14th that the group held its first official church service in the assembly room at April Lane School. The congregation had slow, steady growth as it moved 5 times in 5 years before purchasing the YMCA Building in August of 1997. At that time, it took a lot of faith for the 110 members to believe that God would one day help them fill this large 20,000 sq. ft. facility in the heart of downtown Yuba City. Today Crossroads Community Church has become one of the largest Christian ministries in the Yuba/Sutter area and has had a positive impact for Christ on the entire region.

Crossroads Community Church is a non-denominational body of Christian believers who meet regularly to worship and praise the Lord. We boldly proclaim the Bible as the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. We reach our hands in fellowship to every blood-washed one, believing that every born-again Christian is a member of the family of God.

We believe in God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, died for our sins with the shedding of His blood on the cross, was buried, and raised on the third day according to the scriptures. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. We affirm that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church which consists of all those who by grace through faith have believed in Him. We embrace the whole Bible as the divinely inspired Word of God. We believe in the forgiveness of sins, a life controlled by the Holy Spirit, the resurrection of the body, and everlasting life.
